Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create an account or use the MedicHut UCAT Skills Trainer ("the Trainer"), operated by MedicHut LTD.

Your account

You must be 13 or over to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. One account per person - accounts may not be shared.

What we provide

The Trainer is a free study tool for the UCAT. It includes original drills, skills checks, mock papers, an AI tutor (Idris) and a Performance Coach. Content is for personal study only. UCAT® is a registered trade mark of the UCAT Consortium; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

AI features

Idris and the Performance Coach are powered by third-party large language models. Their replies are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. Nothing produced by the AI is medical, legal or admissions advice and you should always cross-check important claims. By using these features you agree your messages may be sent to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

  • Don't copy, scrape, redistribute or republish our questions or explanations.
  • Don't use the Trainer or any AI feature to generate content for resale.
  • Don't attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the platform.
  • Don't use the Trainer to harass, defame or share unlawful content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

Intellectual property

All content on the Trainer - including questions, explanations, study plans, branding, design and the Idris persona - is owned by MedicHut LTD and protected by UK and international IP laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own UCAT preparation only.

Service availability

The Trainer is provided on an "as is" basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features (including AI providers, models and question banks) may change as we improve the platform.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedicHut LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Trainer, including reliance on AI output, lost study time or UCAT performance. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited (for example, fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email. Continued use of the Trainer after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
